* 5 HEART TOUCHING STARS! *

This will be a very short and sweet review.

I fell in love with the writing straight away, this author has a talent and I was so absorbed from the first page. Some people just have a way with words and this author is one of them.

Lilly and Colton meet when Colton is 9 and Lilly 10, Lilly always knew there was something different about Colton but doesn’t find out until she’s 15 that he has Aspergers. I fell in love with this book not only for the story and the writing but when I was younger my mum worked in a centre caring for people with different disabilities and I would go with her, there was this one person I just adored and he has Aspergers along side other things but he became a friend and even though he may not of showed that he felt the same as others, deep down inside he still felt them and showed it in other ways. I kept thinking of him while reading this story and had tears in my eyes because it brought back some really nice memories. In ways him and Colton was very similar the blunt ways they would say things and certain ways they would act.

Lilly I thought she was actually amazing because she loved Colton with her whole heart and always tried to understand him. She knew she loved him and she knew he loved her even if he didn’t show it the same way.

At times I didn’t know what was going to happen and just made me want to read faster. I can’t fault this book it’s beautiful, heart wrenching, unique and completely adorable!

I won’t forget this story it’s touched me and for it to be as short as it was and never felt rushed is amazing!
